Electrical Design Engineer
Optima Control Solutions would like to invite applications for the position of Electrical Design Engineer at our Blackburn headquarters in Lancashire.

As an Electrical Design Engineer, the successful candidate will have a key role and responsibility in the delivery of the company’s engineering projects.
In this role, the successful applicant will be tasked with detailed electrical design of control systems, conducting site surveys, generating specification documents, control schematics, panel layouts and I/O listings for a project . As such this role will include UK wide travel as well as occasional travel overseas.
To be considered for the role of Electrical Design Engineer, the applicant must have:
- Electrical engineering experience gained within a similar role
- Experience with Promise-e or AutoCad Electrical CAD tools
- A full, clean & valid UK driving licence
Additionally, the applicant will need to be an effective communicator with good personal skills and an organised approach. They should also live locally or be willing to relocate.
A degree (or equivalent) in an engineering or related subject would be an advantage to your application but not essential.
