Forecasting Bright Times Ahead ...

18/12/2006

Optima Control Solutions, developers of InfoServe365, recently installed a meterological office-grade weather station into a Lancashire technology college.

Weather data collection and presentation is handled by InfoServe365 in exactly the same way as it would be for a commercial installation of the product. Data is continually gathered from the weather station and is immediately transferred to a secure data center where it is indefinitely stored.

Our system has proved a highly effective tool for the college and staff and pupils are able to log into the InfoServe365 web application to access the data from any Internet connected computer. The web application is an intuitive and powerful suite of data mining tools. Up to the minute and historical information can be accessed, trends can be plotted and periodic reports can be instantly generated.
