Machinery Safety System Upgrades

Machinery safety is an integral part of our upgrades to any equipment – large or small. Optima help our clients achieve the required mandatory standards by offering independently-written PUWER reports that places no obligation on them to contract the upgrade work to Optima, but many choose to. From the initial PUWER survey, Optima develop the machine safety control concept with the customer to satisfy the PUWER report findings. The customer is then assured that all relevant legislation has been adhered to.

Of course, with the increasing use of programmable and configurable safety systems in industry it is more important than ever that safety software is written to standard and thoroughly tested.

This is why Optima’s engineers responsible for machinery safety are fully TÜV SÜD trained in Functional Safety for Factory Automation (ISO 13849 and IEC 62061) and have a combined experience of over 30 years in the design of safety related control systems.
